The Support Collection Unit (SCU) is a government agency that helps to collect and distribute child support payments. It keeps computerized records of payments, so there are fewer disputes about what has been paid, and also helps to collect child support payments that are due. The SCU is part of the Office of Child Support Enforcement. Their offices can be found all over New York State, usually one in each county.
