Hi! My question is how would you translate a small creek - Deer Creek? Would you say "arroyo Deer Creek" ("Deer Creek" in italics) or would you simply leave it as "Deer Creek" (in italics)?
Some context - I work at a botanic gardens park and we are working on making our institution completely bilingual (English and Spanish). We have a creek that runs through one of our properties and we have some interpretation that describes the creek (a sign describing the creek and its natural path through the property).

O la traducción parentética podría ser "el Arroyuelo del Ciervo", si se quiere ser descriptivo.
Pero lo dejaría en original, como su nombre propio... "Deer Creek (Arroyo del Ciervo)"

Fíjate que el nombre origina viene de los españoles (como puedes ver en los enlaces que he incluido)
