Ale podle mého tam maximálně čeká další markeťák [marketing swindler?], který ho měl odchytnout, aby se nebohému klientovi podařilo vzít roha.

agree that makes sense Stuart, thanks. it was baffling me. Some other mistakes in the source as well.

I think it's meant to be "nepodarilo" Because otherwise it doesn't make sense (I don't think; I've just woken up, mind). "so that the poor client doesn't have a chance to walk away (/ escape their clutches / extricate himself from...)"
