This is a description of a villa in a residential area and is in the contract. There are quite a few typos and mistakes in the text. Here is the paragraph (the part I am unsure about mostly is 'auto stable.) Thanks
Construction réalisée en maçonnerie de gros œuvres, a savoir structure de type portique auto stable avec poteaux poutres en béton armé, les planchers en dalles creuses, avec hourdis, poutrelles et table de compression, en maçonnerie en brique creuses en terre cuit. The country involved is Algeria.

Note that "portique" doesn't mean "portico" here! This is about the type of frame construction used for the house. This sort of thing:

agree Tony M : Though in this instance, I don't think 'portal' works, but possibly simply 'gantry-style'?

Thanks Tony. No, it's "portal", not "gantry". Portal frame construction is what's used for hypermarket sheds etc., but also for housing when a large open floor area is required.
