SPAIN. I'm surprised this isn't in the glossary. Is this a dissertation? A thesis? Or should I just translate it literally as "work"?

Master's Paper / Master's Capstone Project
Master's Paper Guidelines
One of the degree requirements for the Master of International Affairs degree is to complete either an internship or a master's paper. The requirements for the master's paper are as follows:
Timing
Ordinarily, you must complete the core curriculum before beginning work on the master's paper.
https://www.sia.psu.edu/academics/masters-paper-guidelines
The Master's Capstone Project
...
Students design their projects and conduct most of their research during the fall semester seminar, and throughout the year, they consult regularly with a faculty mentor as well as the capstone instructor and their peers. While most students build their projects using digital tools, most do not need previous technical expertise.

What is a Capstone Project?
Edglossary.org says it is a complex assignment that involves many steps and serves as a "culminating academic and intellectual experience…at the end of an academic program."

Here's another couple of ideas, from a university around your way:
final master's project / master's degree final project
Master’s degree final project
The RD1393/2007 of 29 October, amended by RD 861/2010 of 2 July, establishing the management of official university studies in Spain, indicates that studies leading to obtaining a Master’s degree shall conclude with the development and defence of a Master’s Final Project (MFP).

: Capstone is OK for US or Australia but very rarely used and generally unfamiliar in the UK. "Paper" alone is not specific enough; a paper may be required for a subject course in the programme. I think I would go with "final project".

Master´s Research Project
Me parece que la definición dada ahí mismo: proyecto de investigación, funciona.
Discussion
I also agree that although the TFM is basically a dissertation (in UK terms), or at least that's the main element of it, it would be better not to call it that, for the reasons John indicates.
So if you're talking about the long document the students have to write summarising their findings, I would go with "Masters Dissertation".
What department is this in? If it is in the sciences, I would probably tend more towards "final research project", or something like that, as it covers more than just the written part. For something that doesn't involve so much practical / field work, such as in literature studies, then perhaps "dissertation" would work, as the main focus is how the ideas are organised and developed in the dissertation itself.
Another point that might make a difference is how it is actually assessed/graded (I don't know if you have that information in the source text). I used to work in university in a chemisty/materials science department, and when we ran research projects, the mark scheme covered the dissertation, an oral presentation of the results, and also marks for how the student went about the project (meetings with supervisor, etc). It would also start with a literature review before moving onto anything practical, which is also graded as part of the project. In this context, referring to it as a dissertation, paper, etc. alone, would miss out a lot of those elements, so again "project" might be more appropriate.
