: I think "short extract" would be even better. An "excerpt" could be fairly long and the word is less frequently used (and undertood?) than "extract".

Terminology questions to Proz used to be posted within about half an hour of posting. Has this now changed? If all questions are now going to take this long to be vetted, the service becomes much less useful.
