Posterior predictive check
A posterior predictive check was conducted in order to determine if the PK model could predict data similar to the observed data in elderly subjects 65 to 75 years of age (n=7) and elderly subjects greater than or equal to 75 years of age (n=4).
The observed geometric mean posterior predictive check (PPC) statistics dose-normalized to 80 mg were contained within the 5th and 95th percentile of the simulated distribution for dose-normalized Cmax and AUC(0-24) in both elderly age groups.
To compare lurasidone exposure among subjects in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and others included in the population PK model previously developed (M1050005), an external posterior predictive check (PPC) was conducted on the observed pharmacokinetic data from Study D1001002 using the previously developed population pharmacokinetic model.
To compare lurasidone exposure among subjects in Study D1050303, and others included in the population PK model previously developed (M1050007), an external posterior predictive check (PPC) was conducted on the observed pharmacokinetic data from Study D1050303 using the previously developed population pharmacokinetic model.
