When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Daryo May 11, 2020:
which one? something in my answer, or the comment one about people repeatedly declaring questions "non-Pro" simply because they can't see why the question would require some specialised knowledge?
adel almergawy (asker) May 11, 2020:
@Daryo
Thanks for your great effort but your last comment is unclear and confusing
Daryo May 11, 2020:
before poking fun at other people spelling mistakes, maybe think about how "non-Pro" can be a question if some people some can not even select the right part of a dictionary entry ...
adel almergawy (asker) May 11, 2020:
#Edith Kelly It deals with teaching methods
adel almergawy (asker) May 11, 2020:
@philogodard I really use a lot of dictionaries . I don't get it
Edith Kelly May 11, 2020:
Phil what is a methadology
philgoddard May 11, 2020:
No It's methadolgy.
Edith Kelly May 11, 2020:
Adel you've got a certificate in "methadology". Please explain what that might be. Just curious
philgoddard May 11, 2020:
Adel Please use a dictionary. Thanks.

agree philgoddard : I disagree with Daryo. Your answer is correct, and your 5 justified.

neutral Daryo : strictly speaking, you quoted the wrong part of this dictionary entry - there is at the end a definition specific to computer networks [what the ST is about] // CL5 possibly a bit overstated? BTW the Wikipedia entry is waaays better.

English term (edited): Verify ... interoperability, ... of system architecture.

Verify that all components of the system (as it is) can work together / "talk" to each other

Verify that all components of the system (as it is being designed / or as it is already built) can work together / "talk" to each other

Here it's about the "interoperability, ... of system architecture" - the "system" being an IT system.

Basically it means "make sure that each component of the system will 'work together' with the rest of the system", as nicely explained in:

brief version - https://www.thefreedictionary.com/interoperability

interoperability - (computer science) the ability to exchange and use information (usually in a large heterogeneous network made up of several local area networks)

(Sometimes all you need is to change the version of some software to turn a whole component of a system is dead weight ...)

longer version https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interoperability

Interoperability is a characteristic of a product or system, whose interfaces are completely understood, to work with other products or systems, at present or in the future, in either implementation or access, without any restrictions.

While the term was initially defined for information technology or systems engineering services to allow for information exchange, a broader definition takes into account social, political, and organizational factors that impact system to system performance. Task of building coherent services for users when the individual components are technically different and managed by different organizations
