Spanish term

fiel cumplimiento de lo pactado

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Purchase policy

Any dispute and difference arising out of this contract shall be settled as provided in the XXXX Civil Code concerning civil obligations and provisions of the Legal Code in force that confer rights to ***demand the faithful performance in accordance with this agreement***.
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): TechLawDC

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Manuel Aburto (asker) Aug 29, 2020:
Thanks again Robert for the recommendation!

... and you too Reuben!
Robert Carter Aug 29, 2020:
Cheers, Reuben!
Reuben Wright Aug 29, 2020:
Great advice. I agree with "legal action/litigation" and Criminal Code.
Robert Carter Aug 29, 2020:
By the way... "Controversia" can also be rendered as "legal action," "litigation," etc. I think it's applicable here.
"Resolver" = resolve (as in "dispute resolution")
"Código Penal" = "Criminal/Penal Code"

proper compliance with what has been agreed > herein

> herein is legal English shorthand for 'in this contract'. > UK: agreement

Best avoid contract for BrE legal consumption: UK lawyers in general and City of London Solicitors in particular are averse to a whiff of a binding contract.

Covenants agreed if the 'contract' is equivalent to a UK-type deed under seal cf. US deeds that are instruments of land conveyancing only.
Example sentence:

The objective of this regulation is very clear: to achieve compliance with what has been agreed within the ICAO....

Thanks Adrian!
