English term

lead for a mechanical pencil (most commonly used term in South America)?

Non-PRO English to Spanish Other Education / Pedagogy general supplies/school supplies
Rather general term, but I have a doubt because I have found different references for:
-puntilla
-mina
-grafito

I'd like to hear your suggestions if you reside in South America for most common term and in which country you live

Asker asks about the lead: the solid pigment core. That’s why I proposed “mina”.
