why "sentinel"? Over the last two decades, many surgeons have made great refinements in the surgical techniques used in aesthetic facial procedures. These refinements, based on meticulous anatomical analysis, have included the identification and naming of the sentinel vein. De la Plaza et al6 alerted surgeons about the presence of perforating vessels of the temporal region that are in great proximity to the temporal branch of the facial nerve.

He named these vessels, “the sentinel veins of the lateral wall of the orbit.” Trinei et al, in his article on endoscopic brow lift, noted that the anatomic position of the anterior portion of the sentinel vein was consistently demonstrated (by cadaver dissection) to start just lateral to the lateral orbital rim and then to travel posterosuperiorly in the subcutaneous tissue of the temporal region. - https://academic.oup.com/asj/article/27/1/105/244101

Yes, I have also found all these references, but still I cannot find a Polish equivalent. I have tried checking "żyła jarzmowo-skroniowa", which would be a translation of zygomaticotemporal vein, but I found no matches.
