English term

PRESS in the context of a Board of Directors discussion regarding policies.

English to Spanish Bus/Financial Finance (general) Word press in the context of a Board of Directors discussion regarding policies.
Hello. I am translating a board of director´s meeting transcription where they are discussing several policies and always refer
to "the current policy" or "the board policy" as opposed to "press", as if "press" would include another type or status
of a policy.

Does this refer to published policies and because of that they use the word "press" meaning that it has been published?

I am translating it as "normas publicadas".

I know this explanation is kind of vague, but wanted to know if someone has dealt with content like this before and have an idea about it.

Thanks in advance.

Discussion

Andrés Contreras Apr 10, 2021:
Con el escaso contexto dado, optaría por política de prensa o política de comunicación.
David Hollywood Apr 10, 2021:
Can you give us a source text segment including "press"?
Daniel Delgado Apr 9, 2021:
Publisher Unfrequently, press means the publisher. Publisher policy makes sense, but really depends on the context. Difficult to guess without further context.
