Contractor stated that design is according to winterization philosophy where the use of direct steam injection for X and Y is approved and the solution is according to FEED design.
Moreover, Licensor confirmed that considering the winterization requirement, due to the big volume of urea tank and ammonia water tank, the external tracing is considered not effective and, for X, it can also create locally biuret issues, so the steam injection solution is acceptable.
Also, for X, Owner to note that also bottom of the tank is insulated.
As per above, P&ID review meeting Contractor final position was that there is no need to have steam tracing for these tanks which will be included on upon Owner Change Order Notice.
