Hefe

Commercial breweries, including craft brewers, will actually use a filtration system on their brew to remove the sediment.

Thanks, writeaway. When it gets too hot to work in the garden, I have time to cool off indoors!

I think it's about a brewery process which describes stages in beer making.
"It must be taken into consideration that with a rise in yeast administration, there's an increased risk of yeast autolysis, especially if the sedimentary yeast cannot be cooled or poured off."
'Autolysis is a seriously harmful medical condition in which cells could be broken down by their own tissues or enzymes in the same body.'

There's a reduction in the diacetyl content below the taste threshold and ultimately with the beer clarification.
(Diacetyl is a byproduct of carbohydrate degradation.)

Not at all sure, but thought it might be worth contributing:

To dump the yeast, open the yeast dump valve slowly. Collect the dead yeast and sediment in a vessel.

when we use the dual valve to dump the dead yeast or to transfer the beer.

In my humble opinion it would seem to be a term implying "removal".

Thanks, uyuni. I felt there might be a more technical term for the process.

This would translate to 'remove' remaining or excess amounts of yeast from the beer or 'clear the beer' from the yeast remainder...

Why not just have one right now and call it a day for this Saturday night...;-)
Cheers!
