Dear ProZ members,
I have a cultural doubt about a sentence taken from a Japanese show. The character is talking about Sun Wukong/Son Goku.
昔桃食べて神様に怒らてとったやつ奴おったな
(There was a guy who ate peaches and was scolded by God.)
My problem is: God of gods? I didn't read the book, and a quick Google search isn't providing me the answer I need.
Thank you so much!

a god
It's just one of many gods in the Taoist religion.
