Spanish term

canalización

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Civil engineering
This is a site translation of a company like Balfour Beatty and alike.
Under the section of civil engineering there are calas de reconocimiento (inspection perforations), topos (moles) and *canalización*.
Under canalización, there are these lines:
Ejecución de todo tipo de canalización, zanja para enterramiento directo, ejecución de prismas con la maquinaria de obra más sofisticada. Realización «in situ» de registros, pozos de ventilación, habitáculos y arquetas.

I am not happy with the words channel, chanelling, ducts, conduits, etc and of course no wiring or aerial + something because it is on the ground.

I would appreciate some help for this easy-difficult word for me.
Proposed translations (English)
4 +1 trenching

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

@matt Maybe ProZ.com members means PAYING members. I let my paying membership lapse years ago, as I don't need the site to tout my services. I just feel disappointed to be deemed unworthy.
matt robinson Jul 27, 2021:
@neilmac When did they change the rules about posting? I am going to make a complaint, FWIW.
neilmac Jul 27, 2021:
Cheers, Matt Due to the asker's criteria, I am also unable to post an agree to Matt's suggestion below. FWIW, "trenching" was what I was going to suggest.
neilmac Jul 26, 2021:
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post a solution, as apparently I'm not a member, despite having been a regular contributor for a long time.

Excavation could be general enough to cover it;

agree Yvonne Gallagher : (and this option of limiting responders has been around a long time)//sometimes too many guesses, too much waffling to wade through?

Yes, I see now that it is a filter that the question poster can apply, although why they would is a mystery to me.
