"Descripción Macroscópica" is one of the section sub-headings in a pathology report for a prostate biopsy in Spain (to be translated into US English).
I have always translated the section sub-headings "Descripción Macroscópica" and "Descripción Microscópica" as "Gross Examination" and "Microscopic Examination", rather than "Gross Description" and "Microscopic Description".
