Hydraulics is a branch of fluid mechanics specifically dealing with water as a major fluid in many engineering systems. It is safe to consider water as an incompressible fluid for typical engineering applications. Pressurized flow usually refers to the flow in closed conduits. Hydraulics of pressurized flow involves three basic equations: continuity, energy, and momentum equations. Head loss is important in hydraulics of pressurized flow regardless of system design or flow analysis. Darcy-Weisbach and Hazen and Williams equations typically estimate friction head loss. Closed-conduit flow may be defined as flow in completely filled conduits where no free water surface exists, or flow (relative motion) deep enough in a body of water that surface effects are not significant. Flow in pumping plant discharge lines and municipal water supply systems are examples of the first portion of the definition, and deeply submerged submarines may be examples of the second portion. In this paper only the case of completely filled pipelines and other closed conveyances will be considered. Also, the paper will be limited to flow with liquids such as water, and will apply only to incompressible flow.
As has been suggested, closed-conduit flow is in some respects very different from open-channel flow. For example, the fluid is completely constrained by the conduit walls and this constraint is manifested as a pressure force on the walls and within the fluid. No free water surface will normally exist and thus no hydraulic jump occurs.
Similarly, there will be no backwater curves and no significant changes in conveyance size and shape with changes in hydraulic gradient or rate of flow.

'moving' is volgens mij pleonastisch.
I mean 'flow of moving' ??

Discussion
Maar geloof ons, 'pressurized flow' is niet een ding, 'pressurized flow of a moving fluid' hoort bij elkaar en betekent 'vloeistof die onder druk stroomt'.
Een pijp/buis waardoor vloeistof onder druk wordt getransporteerd.
