Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Matrícula inmobiliaria de un certificado de tradición de Colombia
Se trata de un certificado de tradición e inscripción de una escritura catastral de Colombia, mi duda está relacionada con la palabra "englobe".

Discussion

philgoddard Oct 24, 2021:
Juan Jacob Oct 24, 2021:
Será traducción, no tradición.

Spanish term (edited): englobe de dos lotes

consolidation of two parcels of land, Col.

opposite is partition in Anlgo-Am law and, in the UK, the term of 'lotting' is used for splitting a housing estate into separate lots that are supposed to be conveyed individually. Allotments is a term tending to be used for gardening and nature reserves.

In the UK, deeds of consolidation vs. partition are used.

englobe: Col. consolidation of properties, West. Elswhere is agrupación.

Example sentence:

Land consolidation is a planned readjustment and rearrangement of fragmented land parcels and their ownership.

lot·ted, lot·ting, lots 1. To apportion by lots; allot. 2. To divide (land) into lots. 3. To divide (goods) into lots for sale

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : Your first reference says "aggregation", which is Giovanni's answer, not yours. Your second is irrelevant.

The first ref. of aggregation is to show it is *wrong* in UK + US conveyancing - as you ought to know. The second ref. of agrupación - pls. 're-read' my last sentence - is the non-Colombian form of 'englobe', West. I have drafted Deeds of Consolidation.
agree AllegroTrans : Omit ",Co." whatever that is supposed to mean and it's not part of the answer + messes up glossary entry

Thanks, but won't get into the glossary anyway. Col. stands for Colombian as in englobe - consolidation, West in englobe vs. agrupación *elsewhere* and which deeds of consolidation vs. partition of land I have also drafted in the UK.
