crow's feet

Vifterynker (crow's feet) are wrinkles forming a fan (vifte) at the outer corners of the eyes, caused by smiling.

"Crow's feet" are also called "laugh lines", which, however, also refer to the lines from the nose to the corners of the lips, caused by smiling. To be specific here, use "crow's feet", alternatively "laugh lines at the outer eye corners".

If you think the term "crow's feet" might invoke negative connotations, I would suggest using the medical term "lateral canthal wrinkles".

neutral Christopher Schröder : Although this is what first sprang to mind, I wonder if it’s a bit negative? /// Lol! I just think a cosmetics text would normally pussyfoot around these things.

Use a retinol cream or serum to minimise under-eye wrinkles
Ah, retinol. It's the one ingredient proven to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time, which is exactly why dermatologists like Dr Mahto recommend it for use around the eye area. "It's worth including a retinol in your nighttime skincare routine," Dr Mahto said. "So not only are you preventing collagen loss in the morning [by using SPF] but in the evening you're trying to boost collagen production around that area."

p.s.
I did also think of "crow's feet" as they have a tendency to "fan out"

Crow's Feet are wrinkles that form around the outside of the eyes over time. As the skin around the eyes is exceptionally thin, wrinkles in this area can form fairly early due to constant muscle use and a gradual reduction in your skin's elasticity.
