Νομίζω ότι τα στοιχεία που δίνεις είναι υπεραρκετά για να γίνει κατανοητό ότι πρόκειται για πλήκτρο αιτήματος, έκκλησης για επαναθεώρηση του ζητήματος των διαφημίσεων σε κάποιον ιστότοπο ή σελίδα που αφορά θέματα Πληροφορικής. Το button φυσικά, κουμπί, θα ήταν σε real time, αλλά εδώ σαφώς αναφέρεται στο σημείο που θα πατηθεί ώστε να προωθηθεί η αίτηση, apply, ή έκκληση σε κάποιο αίτημα που έχει κατατεθεί προς reviewing. Το «κουμπί» ή «πλήκτρο» είναι θέμα προσωπικής επιλογής. Εγώ λέω πάντα «κουμπί» για πράγματα που βλέπω στην οθόνη και «πλήκτρο» για ό,τι βλέπω στο πληκτρολόγιο.

Εδώ διατηρώ στην περιγραφή τον τίτλο του κουμπιού, γιατί δεν έχω (σε αυτό το στάδιο) τη βεβαιότητα ότι το κουμπί είναι κι αυτό μεταφρασμένο. Άλλο αν, προηγουμένως ή παρακάτω, έχω δώσει μετάφραση και γι’ αυτό.

Πιστεύω ότι η σημασία είναι «επανεξέταση» και με μια «νομική» έννοια (απλώς δεν θα το πούμε «έφεση»), επειδή η διαφήμιση έχει πρόβλημα «προορισμού» (δηλαδή σε ποια σελίδα στέλνει όποιον την επιλέγει) και, τώρα που έγινε η διόρθωση, πρέπει να γίνει αναθεώρηση και έγκριση από κάποια ελεγκτική αρχή για να προχωρήσει (και να δημοσιευτεί; ).

In the subject question, in my opinion, AFTER correcting, changing, re-evaluating an advertisement, the writer has to 'MAKE AN APPEAL', to the Advertising Medium principals to accept and include that advert in their Classified, or whatever other Advertising Board of theirs.

To 'press the button of', in this case 'appeal', is an allegory of saying, 'Please can you insert our revamped Advert in......' They are, politely begging them to...
