As a guide when determining the upper chuck position, the position where there is no gap between the upper chuck and the lock shaft is a good height.
There is a slight gap in the photo on the right side of Fig 2-10-5-1.
If the chuck is closed at this height, the center of the lock shaft will distort as it is not in the correct position.
Use JOG to move it to a height where there are no gaps (photo on the left side of Fig. 2-10-5-1).
