estoy traduciendo los estatutos de una sociedad y durante todo el documento se habla de SHARES (que he estado traduciendo como acciones), excepto en este apartado (ver ejemplo abajo).
Se trata de una sociedad constituida en Singapur y es una LTD. Gracias de antemano!

Si la definición de 'Share' y 'Stock' que Laura postea abajo son tomadas del mismo documento, entonces la opción de David es la que aplica.
Al ser un texto legal un tanto oscuro, en principio salta a la mente y evoca la idea de 'treasury stock', pero dada la definición de abajo, se trata de participaciones

A ‘Stock‘ on the other hand is a collection of shares of a member that are fully paid up. A share is the smallest whole piece of the company an individual investor can own. A share is a unit of ownership (e.g. you own 10 shares), whereas stock is a measurement of equity (e.g. you own 10% of the company). Think of shares as a small portion of a company.

En el caso del inglés británico las acciones de una empresa se denominan shares, mientras que en los Estados Unidos se denominan, generalmente, stocks. Generalmente los estadounidenses emplean muchas veces los dos términos de forma casi indistinta.
La propiedad de una sociedad suele representarse en forma de acciones o participaciones sociales. En España hacemos esta diferencia en función del tipo de empresa de que se trate. Si hablamos de una sociedad limitada (S.L.) utilizamos el término «participaciones» y si hablamos de una sociedad anónima (S.A.) decimos «acciones».

En el mundo británico "stock" y "shares" NO son lo mismo. Está regulado en algún "Act". Se pueden ver las diferencias en los siguientes links, que entiendo corresponden a un sitio de India.

No sé como se traducen exactamente. Puede haber la misma diferencia que entre acciones registrales y no registrales, pero no lo sé.

Una solución, si no surgiera otra alternativa mejor, sería traducir "stock" con otro nombre usual dado a las acciones: título valor (o título), para no superponerte con la palabra "acciones" que has utilizado anteriormente.
