Spread angle and Scrub radius

The scrub radius is 0 when the imaginary line of the center of spread meets exactly the center of the wheel contact area. If the puncture point is further out, the scrub radius is negative. If the intersection point is on the inside, the scrub radius is positive. The greater the positive scrub radius the easier the wheels can be steered. A negative scrub radius produces an automatic counter steer effect which makes the vehicle more stable during braking
