As Applicable. When this contract states that the subrecipient will “comply” with a designated law, rule, regulation, handbook, form, or similar provision (called a “Law” in this paragraph), the subrecipient shall comply with such Law as if the subrecipient is an entity subject to such Law. When this contract states that the subrecipient will comply with the “applicable provisions” of a Law, or comply with a Law “as applicable,” the subrecipient will comply with such Law to the extent that such Law is, by the requirements of the Law, applicable to the subrecipient independent of any requirement of this contract.
