Italian term
stile corsivo
Le pitture, in stile corsivo ed estremamente sommario, erano probabilmente realizzate per una lettura da lontano.
Non sembra fare riferimento a grafia quindi chiedo se esiste una traduzione precisa di questo stile.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

"lettura da lontano" seems pretty clearly to refer to writing, no?

By nuanced, I mean the description in Italian here could be more emotive than literal (maybe nuanced is the wrong word to use).
cursory style
Nearly all the artists represented were alternately damned and praised for their modernity, for they were eager to present the natural world in as vivid a way as possible. Their sensitive treatment of nature and of human life, frequently in a fluid, cursory style, was intended to elicit a heightened response from the viewer."-- Metropolitan Museum of Art website

I'm not sure what 'corsivo' means, though. I thought of 'flowing", but I'm not sure if that description applies here.

L’anonimo maestro dipinge in uno stile veloce e corsivo, con rapide pennellate che abbozzano le figure senza mai far ricorso alla linea di contorno.
The symbols and stylizations of Byzantine painting are still completely absent from the walls of Castelseprio. The anonymous master paints in a fast, cursive style, with rapid brushstrokes that sketch out the figures without ever using outlines.

: Un significato di corsivo in italiano è "grossolano" (ma non vale per cursive). https://www.grandidizionari.it/Dizionario_Italiano/parola/c/... --- could be "coarse style" !
