Oración: "El licor lo había comprado Juan, pero en este instante ninguno de los dos estaba para mierdas de quién había comprado qué."
Contexto:esta oración se encuentra en cuento que trata sobre viejos amigos que realizan una fiesta para reecontrarse nuevamente después de la universidad.

This seems to me like an idiomatic option, but it takes some semantic liberties. You could also say, "could give a shit," but that seems too vulgar (though I don't know the whole context, so I can't say for sure).
