French to English Medical Medical (general)
Working on a translation for a company that produces medical-related products (cosmetics, face masks, disposable surgery gowns, blood pressure monitors, etc.), basically items for sale in pharmacies that are not actually medication. These products are described in French as "produits paramédicaux" and I'm struggling to come up with an appropriate translation for this term that is not too wordy. I have seen it translated a number of times quite literally as "paramedical products", but I believe in English this would relate to products used by paramedics, so inappropriate for this context. Any ideas? Maybe just "medical-related products" as I've already used right here?

Paramedical product The best (most accurate and comprehensive) translation is indeed 'paramedical products', whether used by paramedics or anyone else. Other options fall short one way or another

I believe it would be a mistake to use medical-related products since this would lead again to drugs & medicines, with or w/o prescription (otc).

"Parapharmacie" is actually, health & beauty products mainly but may encompass toiletries, and disposable items as you say. "Drugstore products" may be better understood in USA/Can but for England it may be necessary to detail
"health, beauty & personal care" products, as in several websites.

neutral Gladis Audi, DipTrans : Yes for drugstore products for the US and Canada, though I am not sure drugstore products include needles, dressings, etc. (paramédicaux) as it mostly refers to supplements and personal hygiene (parapharma).

The asker didn't mention needles or dressings (read his question). Small BP monitors yes, that's why in any case, can specify "B, HC & Wellness". Although dressings are sold here in France w/o prescription (self-service). I think in UK, too.

Yes, in the HC section. I don't think they make up a large sales volume. In my opinion, and as the asker said, it's mainly cosmetics!! He needs a term to "label" ALL that part of the Client's business.
