I am wondering if this is an existing expression.
Thanks
May 25, 2023 13:02: philgoddard changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"
Non-PRO (3): AllegroTrans, Yvonne Gallagher, philgoddard
When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

female with talent -> woman of many talents
Also a 'female' variation for the gender-conscious.
Ingenio: talent, Collins, SPA/ENG.
Compare 'una mujer con (mucho) genio' (no nationailty mentioned).
A woman of many talents (she has won several Grammy Awards and played in Blues Brothers 2000 and House of D.
We found that talented women in emerging markets are ahead of the curve in unexpected ways
Witty woman
Additionally, "witty woman" carries a certain charm and playfulness that complements the contrast mentioned in your query, and for me, sounds kind of conversational, which can remit to this imaginary conversation between the critic and the artist. It creates a counterpoint with the phrase "pretty woman" and adds depth to the conversation between the writer and the sculptor. Just subtle differences and a matter of style.

A disingenuous/inventive woman; a woman of disingenuity/inventiveness
'disingenuous' ( acting out of unperceived motives) is really the meaning here, where nothing is quite as it seems
