Hi - I'm trying to verify this but am having no luck finding reference for what "ad" stands for? Administrerende perhaps? I have two examples of its use as follows:
Sager, der kan ende i æresrelateret vold, får et andet såkaldt ad-journalnummer.
Ad-journalnummer for politiets registrering af hændelser, der relaterer sig til fodboldkampe.

The Latin preposition is also used in other Germanic lingos - some native German/Austrian translators mistakenly heading subjects in 'English' : ad for re: the topic in point.

It might be a special reference number for crimes of a specific type. So derived from "ad" as a preposition, but definitely part of the name for this number.
