Remember that different schools may use different nomenclature. In most instances, the expression "Ph.D." may be used, but before using such an expression, it would be wise to double check.

Let me elaborate a little bit more about doctorate nomenclature.

The doctorate degree is the highest degree you can earn in most fields, but not all fields share the exact same name. The expression "doctorate degree" or "doctoral degree" is the generic name that applies to all, but each field and each school may use a more specific name. All such names derive from the Latin term "doctor," which means "teacher."

In the early days of Christianity, the term "doctor" was used to designate individuals of authoritative knowledge of the Bible and of Church doctrine. In late medieval times, the term "doctor" was given to people who were officially licensed to teach at a recognized university.

In time, the label "Doctor of Philosophy," or "Ph.D.," was given to holders of a doctorate degree in a field other than medicine, law, or theology (also called "divinity").

In contrast, most law schools in the U.S. award their students the title of "Juris Doctor" (J.D.), while medical schools award the title of "Doctor of Medicine" (M.D.).

In the field of divinity, there are two very different degrees. "Ph.D. in Divinity" is a real academic degree, while "Doctor of Divinity" (or D.D.) is no more than an honorary degree. It carries no academic value.

Dentists carry one of two degrees: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).

Other specialized doctorate degrees include "Doctor of Optometry" or (O.D.) and "Doctor of Musical Arts," or (DMA).

The term درجة الدكتوراة is the generic term that applies to all these degrees, so it is equivalent to "doctoral degree" or "doctorate degree."

doctoral degree

Explanation:
It seems that there are several possible kinds of doctoral degrees in education (see links). To be safe, just call it a doctoral degree, rather than a Ph.D.
