I don't understand this. Who are God's "sources"? Does he go to a bar and have a beer with other universe creators? Is there another interpretation here?

It means the sources of "divine right", rather than God's mates in the pub ;-) Great image, BTW.

agree Tony Isaac : I'd go for 'source' too but rejig the sentence, possibly along the lines of: ...has been revealed by God and comes from a higher source than..."

things that come from Him

I think it's a step further along the chain than "source", it's more like God's information with Him being the source ¿no?

(it's been a while for me and religious texts but I suspect there's still a tendency to capitalise He/Him etc., or maybe this is old-fashioned now.)
