Thanks, P. (:-{)> just alternative phrasing with 'in this case.
neutral Chris Hopley : meaning is correct, of course, but the legal idiom leaves room for improvement imho...

Nederlands term (edited): beiden te dezer zake domicilie kiezende te Leiden

both giving an address for service of process in Leiden

'Domicilie/woonplaats kiezen' is normal English legal idiom is 'to give an address for service of process', sometimes shortened to 'to give an address for service'.

An example:
Dutch text of 'Verdrag van Brussel van 1968 betreffende de rechterlijke bevoegdheid en de tenuitvoerlegging van beslissingen in burgerlijke en handelszaken', art. 33:
-> "De verzoeker moet, binnen het rechtsgebied van het
gerecht dat van het verzoek kennis neemt, woonplaats
kiezen."

English text of same Convention:
-> "The applicant must give an address for service of process within the area of jurisdiction of the court applied to."

Peer comment(s):

agree writeaway : this is the answer for the glossary at least. Jurlex hin, Jurlex her. this has come up quite a lot recently in other language pairs too.
