The machine is equipped with "release compasses"

Here are examples in which the term appears

Release Compasses are part of the new breakaway system that allows to move the cutting unit in 3 directions.
Release compass with arms articulated in 3 sections with unique geometry
Lock on each cutting unit for the release compasses
