I guess a choice must be made as far as how much you want to alter the source. By that, I mean that you can choose to either skip the whole alphabet aspect and use the French notation to designate the notes that the key represent (do, ré, mi etc).
Or
You can keep it as is and use the letter notation used in the English world.
I would check with the client or PM.
Just know that when it comes to
individual notes, French speaking musicians use "do, ré, mi etc" both orally and in written form. For
chords, they still say "do, ré, mi etc" very - if not most - often use the English notation in written form.
