the ul data transmission can be "punctured from" the overridden ul data transmission poinçonnée/perforée Explanation: "perforé" semble plus utilisé que "poinçonné" , mais je trouve ce dernier plus explicite et plus précis dans ce contexte. WP: "In coding theory, puncturing is the process of removing some of the parity bits [...]" Théorie des codes: "la perforation ou poinconnage consiste à supprimer une partie des bits" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puncturing https://fdocuments.fr/document/theorie-des-codes.html |

Reference: What is "punturing"? Reference information: In coding theory, puncturing is the process of removing some of the parity bits after encoding with an error-correction code. This has the same effect as encoding with an error-correction code with a higher rate, or less redundancy. However, with puncturing the same decoder can be used regardless of how many bits have been punctured, thus puncturing considerably increases the flexibility of the system without significantly increasing its complexity. Short illustration of the puncturing procedure. In some cases, a pre-defined pattern of puncturing is used in an encoder. Then, the inverse operation, known as depuncturing, is implemented by the decoder. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puncturing -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 1 hr (2020-06-30 14:13:31 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Sorry: "What is "puncturing"? |
