Ciao, ho un dubbio con questa parola. Ho trovato la spiegazione in inglese e anche un confronto tra Interest payable (interessi passivi) e Interest expense, esiste una differenza in italiano? Dal sito in inglese viene fatta una distinzione tra interessi indicati sul conto economico e quelli sul bilancio (almeno questo mi sembra di capire).

Mi sembra di capire che essenzialmente la differenza è che "interest expense" è una voce di conto economico (ovvero il pagamento degli interessi viene considerato un flusso finanziario in uscita), mentre "interest payable" è una voce di stato patrimoniale (ovvero l'obbligo di versare gli interessi viene considerato un passività): https://www.accountingtools.com/articles/the-difference-betw...

Come puoi vedere qui https://www.ipsoa.it/wkpedia/interessi nel conto economico si parla sicuramente di "interessi passivi", che corrisponde quindi a "interest expense". Per quanto riguarda "interest payable", credo che gli eventuali interessi passivi dovuti ma non ancora liquidati debbano essere contabilizzati nei ratei passivi ma dovrei fare ulteriori ricerche.
