Let's take the word for its dictionary value Перед нами английский текст, который необходимо адекватно передать по-русски. Не китайский текст, заметьте.
Возраст первоначальной формы/бланка достаточно почтенный (2002 г.), чтобы взять то, что написано, нимало не перетолковывая.

Ср. по ссылке ув. Nathalie (https://bit.ly/2NWNtwz) три разных ответа в один голос утверждают: type - процесс механический, не ручной:
1. The important distinction is that 'print' is by done by hand, 'type' is done mechanically.
2. Type is meant to refer to a computer or typewriter.
3. Print as a verb in instructions on how to complete a form generally means to write by hand in block letters (not cursive).
Type would refer to using a typewriter or electrical printer, so in this case, your form should be completed by hand.

Chinese English is Easy to Translate Given that the source document ('Regulation for the Implementation of the Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China') is dated 2002 and was apparently translated into English from Chinese (http://sipa.sh.gov.cn/trademark/20191130/0005-28437.html) it's hard to tell for sure what exactly Chinese translators meant when writing 'typewritten or printed'.
