Buenas, en un certificado de matrimonio aparece:
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Clerk's Certificate is correctly executed from a Marriage Return filed in this office on 08/24/2006 under authority of License No. 36554.
¿Alguna sugerencia para "executed from"? Gracias.

Although the previous two suggestions come close in their own ways, I think rendering "from" as "en cumplimiento de" strays somewhat from the meaning (and may be misleading), and it is not a copy of anything.
All it means is that the clerk's certificate was executed (= signed; completed and made officially valid; "otorgar", "formalizar" or sometimes just "firmar" in Sp.) from (=based on; it's essentially an extract) a marriage return, which is a separate document (definition below).
"From" here = a partir de
Marriage Return / Minister's Return — Following the wedding, the minister or officiant would complete a paper called a marriage return indicating that he had married the couple and on what date. He would later return it to the local registrar as proof that the marriage occurred.
