secondary school work

inglés al español Otros Educación / Pedagogía
Mil gracias

Official transcript(s) of secondary school work should be submitted, with English translation (if needed).

Se debe presentar certificados académicos oficiales de educación secundaria con el contenido de los cursos, traducidos al inglés (si es necesario).
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): abe(L)solano

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Actualmente suena casi perfecto, solo que la palabra "work" es la predominante, pero de haberse postulado "de educación secundaria" le diera un "concuerdo". Gracias por el comentario, precisamente por que me encantan las frases breves que transmiten el mensaje completo. Miguel
Graciela Vicente Sep 2, 2016:
de educación secundaria está perfecto. ¿Para qué complicarse?

estudios secundarios/ calificaciones

I believe the whole phrase should be taken into consideration "official transcript of school work" Certificado oficial de calificaciones secundarias,
and Secondary school work would refer to Dates of enrollment
Courses taken
Units of credit or time allotted to each subject during each term or year
Marks or ratings in each subject

Gracias Ileana!
agree MollyRose : This makes sense in this context of it being a transcript, not talking about homework or stuff done in clase. ... in clasS. Must've been thinking in Spanglish.

tareas escolares de (educación) secundaria

Sin más contexto, no me parece que se refieran al "contenido de los cursos", sino a las "tareas escolares" o "trabajos escolares"...

En España también se llamarían "deberes"...

From An English-Spanish Dictionary (Granada University, Spain), 10.2
schoolwork

(n.) = trabajo escolar, tareas escolares, deberes
Ex: Most of them use the library for their school work, and the majority are not satisfied either with library collections or services.

Sin más contexto, podrían ser "tareas escolares" (que se realizarían en casa o en el centro..., en la biblioteca o donde fuera...)

Saludos cordiales.

En que parte de la traducción se introduce la palabra "work"?
