In the appendices of an invitation to tender. I know this is a standard contractual phrase but I'm having difficulty finding its English equivalent.

But I think it really depends on what precedes to know precisely what "ces indications" should be in English, and even whether "otherwise" is appropriate.

: as straightforward as it gets. literal works here. agree that 'indications' could have other possibilities but if no context is forthcoming, then it's probably safe enough with instructions

: Sounds fine, though if they use "devra/devront" in the same spec, you may want to use straightforward "will" here (though it doesn't actually make any difference).

"herein" is necessary, to dispel ambiguity. "à défaut" is definitely "failing which".
