French term

commoditisation

French to English Bus/Financial Economics Economy/markets
Lorsque l’on consacre jusqu’à 80% de ses cash flows à simplement faire comme le reste de son industrie (et au même rythme, ou pire, plus lentement), on est forcément l’objet des cycles économiques et de la concentration inéluctable des acteurs à travers ces cycles (hors subventions publiques !) … Et si, malgré tout, on parvient au leadership dans un métier, on subit de la commoditisation obligatoire de n’importe quelle activité à long terme dans les marchés mûrs.

becomes commoditised

Avoid the noun at all costs. At least word around to use a verb, even if it has to be this one.
