Consumer cards Hi Tony, I was going to put this but wasn't sure so wanted to check, and yes it should be wound components which I had put initially as well!! Thanks!

consumer cards

Note that these will be 'cards' if destined for use in computers, for example (sound card, video card, etc.), but in UK (not US!) usage, might conceivably be 'boards' if being used in other context.

Please also note that it should be 'wound components' (not coiled'!) — unless something very specific in your context dictates otherwise?

Thanks, Ann! Yes, 'card' is indeed US, what I was trying to say was that for non-US usage, 'board' is sometimes used as well

general purpose pcb's

The "cartes" referred to here on general sale to the "grand public" are for eg. computer add-ons such as wireless cards or graphics cards. Some would probably include small inductors (bobines) for one use or another. Sometimes called cards, sometimes boards, or sometimes just pcb (printed circuit board)
