Les éboutages effectuées à la scie à froid sur la PF82, ont pour objectif d'éliminer les morceaux de profils avec ces problèmes de qualité.

The word actually means the edge or end of something that has been trimmed or cut off. Here they are talking about using a special saw for trimming the bits that need cutting off, to make as smooth as possible and not leave bits sticking out. (Larousse)

This is the term commonly employed in the steel industry for material discarded from the end of cast, forged or rolled product in order to ensure that only sound material is processed/despatched. The same term is used for the operation.
