Really confused by this:
il s'agit d'une embolie pulmonaire bilatérale de moyenne sévérité en rapport avec une phlébite bilatérale proximate du côté gauche.
I assumed 'du côté gauche' meant this is in the left leg, but what about the '[phlébite] bilatérale' bit? What is bilateral? This suggests both legs, or am I reading this wrong?!

Yeah, I see that now. I didn't realise that "proximal" was only referring to the left so I thought it was saying that the proximal thrombus was in the left leg and bilateral (indicating in the left AND right leg) which would have made no sense! |
