context
A masse musculaire identique - the text has been describing BMI calculations, and then it says this. I need to know the technical term in English, for this and also for Depense Energique de Repos (and the acronym). (I am sorry that it is really two terms together, but they come together in the text, and really seem to define each other by the context)
The DER is given as equal to or less than 8 to 12% (if that helps).

I think REE is used in UK - resting energy expenditure is and it would be abbreviated later in a text if repeated
I just looked at BMR REE on Google and there seems to be some debate about it

Discussion
Thank you. Is REE in En/Br? Is this different from BMR(basal metabolic rate)?
