Text on facilities at a boating club.
Any idea what the "chariots" might be here?
Sorry about the lack of context, the text gives only brief information for a range of different clubs/services, etc., and the "chariots" aren't mentioned elsewhere. Any suggestions very welcome.
- Rampe de mise à l'eau et chariots avec grue de mâtage, parking dériveurs.

To bring the boat down the ramp into the water

Lauching trolleys, used only for boats (tail or wing trolleys are also used to move gliders around and launching a glider with these would be very dangerous)

Truck
Used as a "berth" to move the yachts to the sea... when they are not too big

: Yes, also "trolley" or "carrier".

: I think that could lead to ambiguity, as it might be taken as referring to a 'lorry' type truck! I've not heard the expression used like this in a yachting context in the UK.

I heard it on the pontoons over here by Yachtmen flying the red ensign!Maybe you are slightly particular? ;-)

boat-trailer
I would say "boat-trailer" in spite of the fact that the text doesn't say "remorque", the GDT seems to agree with me.

Tony M
: I think they are making the specific difference here between a 'launching trolley' and what would otherwise be a 'road trailer' / No, it's just a yachting terminology thing; for launching, it's a 'trolley'; for the road it's a 'trailer'

I see your point Dusty, but you don't need to be a vehicle to trail something

another option offered by Harrap which might fit here

here most likely a harnass to carry the boat supported by a frame with wheels, but still just a guess

Trolley with mast crane
This is like a small crane in boatyards to facilitate raising a mast in a small boat.

: Ok I understand what you mean but I have never heard of chariot associated to grue de mâtage. With the ramp, it must be 3 different items.

According to the text, 'launch ramp and trolleys with mast crane'

Tony M
: Not technically likely to put a mast crane onto a trolley; it's safe to assume that the 'chariots' belong with the 'rampe' and not the grue
