sport in the EU
Hi all, this crops up in a heading in a text about European sport, sports specificity, the unsuitability of the law in sport, etc. This would logically refer to an insufficient legal framework but I would love to hear what it means to others. the full sentence and some context follows, many thanks in advance,

legal recognition/acknowledgment
Hello,
There is a major lack of legal recognition in the sports world. In other words, there aren't many law at all governing the sport world. Yes, the sport world itself has plenty of "laws" (rules among themselves), but state/national laws are far and few in between.

legal framework
Go with your own proposal - "insufficient [or inadequate] legal framework." It's closest to the meaning of "reconnaissance juridique" in the context you cite.
