railway tie specification
"La traverse est conçue pour résister à l'assise du rail positif, * centre de la traverse négative, * et centre de la traverse positive des moments du cintrage."
Similar question (didn't want to bundle all these together as I've had Kudoz questions eliminated after the fact for stretching out my expression too long). I did find a reference to testing of railroad ties in English that read "Test 1C: Bending - Center Negative." Does "negative tie center" make sense? Again, the text is faulty since the preposition "à" is not repeated with each item in the list.

Comment: "Thanks, kashew, for your help. I ended up using Bourth's suggestion under another query, which took into account all the terms I had questions about, but I thought I should compensate you with some Kudoz points for your accurate replies!"
