der Begriff "Lectrice" bezeichnet hier eine Hofdame/Zofe, deren Aufgabe es war, die Korrespondenzen der Edel­da­me zu verwalten (Briefe schreiben/in Empfang nehmen/archivieren) und ihr vorzulesen. Gibt es dafür einen deutschen Begriff?

Der Text handelt von den Räumen in einem ehemaligen Stadtpalais (ein sog. Hôtel Particulier) aus dem 17.–18. Jahrhundert.
